The final episode of our Project Snook video series is about the future of Mote Aquaculture Research Park and fish farming in America. We get to meet the Vice President of Fisheries and Aquaculture for Mote Marine, Dr. Ken Leber PhD. He has fascinating knowledge of the fish industry in our country. He states, "84% of the seafood we eat in this country is imported." He believes aquaculture is the future. You can control the process. You have a secure process with control over the outcomes. If we don't begin to grow our food supply in this country, who knows what might happen. DONATE NOW

Capt. Blair Wiggins and Addictive Fishing have spent the last 10 years educating television viewers and recreational anglers around the country about the need to preserve one of Florida's favorite inshore species of fish. AF is providing ongoing coverage of the marine enhancement program by creating editorial television content for the "Project Snook" program.

Star Brite is producing a limited-edition product exclusively for this program. Sea Safe Boat Wash is an environmentally friendly formula that cleans dirt, stains and salt off any surface.

With deep roots in fishing when DICK’S Sporting Goods started as a small bait & tackle shop over 60 years ago, DICK'S is proud to partner with Addictive Fishing, Capt. Blair Wiggins and Mote Marine Laboratories on Project Snook to assist in the restoration of the Florida snook fisheries. We, at DICK'S, have a great appreciation for the sport of fishing and are pleased to be a destination for anglers across Florida.

TrueFlies clothing believes passionately in preserving the wild spaces of Florida’s backcountry. We see our fish, flora and fauna not as objects placed here to amuse sportsmen, but rather for what they are—living creatures, each one as invaluable to the ecosystem as the next. Traversing our backcountry and interacting with these magnificent creatures is a privilege. Preserving this privilege for future generations of anglers is of great concern to us at TrueFlies. It is why we are proud to sponsor Project Snook.
